Description

Walter Hagen Cut Signature Display. In addition to displaying exceptional prowess for the game of golf, Walter Hagen also figured largely in the development of professional golf. This was at a time when the definite advantage in the sport lied in the hands of the amateurs. Hagen's skill and assertiveness led to golf being a financial endeavor for the man and paved the way for all professionals to come after him. Clipped from a handwritten letter, the cut has been preserved to make for an exceptional signature display to go with his quirky closing of "Golfingly". The Haig is also represented by an attractive postcard, which has been matted and framed with the cut to final dimensions of 9x11". Brilliant fountain ink example. LOA from PSA/DNA.
