    Description

Rare 1901 Faulkner "Golf Terms" SGC-Graded Complete Set (12). Every card has been graded by SGC, with one exception, these are the ONLY cards from this series graded to date by both PSA and SGC! This very rare series offers some of the first cards to feature the sport of golf. Each cards puts a witty, so very utterly British, spin on a different golfing term, thus the title "Golf Terms." Includes: Graded - SGC 60 EX 5: 4 cards w/A Nasty Lie, Agriculture, Two to One Against and Two Up and One To Play; SGC 50 VG/EX 4: 4 cards w/A Tee Caddie, A Rub of The Green, Fore and Well Forward; SGC 40 VG 3: 2 cards w/Caught In a Bunker and Pressed From Behind' SGC 30 GD 2: 1 card, A Halved Match: SGC 20 FR 1.5: 1 card, Giving It Socks. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time this set has been offered at public auction.
