2001 Upper Deck SP Authentic Tiger Woods (Authentic Stars-Autograph) #45 PSA Authentic, PSA/DNA Auto 10 - #'d 117/900. Offered is a 2001 Upper Deck SP Authentic Stars Autograph Tiger Woods #45. Widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers in history and easily recognized as one of the most famous athletes, Woods holds numerous records and tied for first in PGA tour wins. A child prodigy, at age three Woods shot a 48 over nine holds and by five he had already made TV appearances and been featured in Gold Digest. This card is sharp and presents beautifully with a blue-ink on-card signature of one of the top athletes of the modern era.Aside from being the earliest pack-issued Woods autograph card, an interesting element that makes this particular card special is the hand-numbering on the bottom right corner. Every 2001 SP Authentic Woods we have come across has a foil-stamped serial number. The blue hand-numbering would potentially indicate this was a replacement copy given out by Upper Deck, possibly to replace a damaged card. The exact origins of the hand-numbering may never be precisely known, but this rare detail makes this Tiger Woods rookie potentially unique.
