2001 Upper Deck SP Authentic Tiger Woods (Authentic Stars-Autograph) #45 BGS Mint 9 - #'d 549/900. As his 2019 Masters clincher dropped into the cup, Tiger Woods completed the most improbable return to a position of glory that seemed entirely lost after personal scandal and serious injury left most of the sports world believing that he'd never roar again. As this card comes to auction, Woods stands one PGA Tour victory away from the sole career lead, now tied at eighty-two with the immortal Sam Snead. With Tiger still on the links, we suspect that the offered card will see a surge in value. Just 900 of these cards were printed for Woods to sign way back in 2001, when Woods was still early in his 683-week reign as the highest-ranked golfer in the world. Nearly two decades later, the card remains as crisp and sharp as the day he signed it. Graded BGS Mint 9 with subgrades: Centering 9.5, Corners 9, Edges 9, Surface 8.5 with a Beckett Auto 10.
