1932 Abdulla & Co. "Sports Records" Bobby Jones #200 PSA NM-MT 8 - Pop Two With None Higher! Superb example from this rare German issue titled "Sports Records." The year was 1932 when this rare card circulated across Germany. The legendary golfer Robert Tyre Jones, Jr. was fresh from his sweep of the Grand Slam of golf which was one of the great spectator sports of the era, much on par with baseball and boxing. In fact, Jones was more admired in his era than any other golfer from any other era, even Tiger Woods in his prime. Here, the dashing young golfer shows his mighty swing, launching his ball to a point in the far-off fairway. Fantastic sepia image of Jones shows great clarity and vibrant colors, precise centering and the slightest hints of wear at corner tips. The reverse displays a clean surface and boldly printed text with the Abdulla & Co. advertisement. To date, PSA has graded only two cards at the NM-MT level with none higher for Jones and the entire series. We can only speculate if this dual population was the result of a resubmission.
