2017 Panini Contenders Patrick Mahomes II (Rookie Ticket RPS Autograph) #303 PSA Gem Mint 10. As a youngster, Mahomes practiced on Major League baseball fields with his father, Pat Mahomes, a Major League pitcher. Patrick learned to throw a baseball sidearm, three-quarter, and underhanded, and when he started playing serious football, he brought his unorthodox methods with him. Now as a pro, those methods remain, and to great effect. In his now 5 years in the NFL Mahomes has become a Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl MVP, League MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Pro and Pro Bowler. And in 2020 he signed a 10-year $503 million dollar contract making it the 2nd largest contract in sports.
