Originating from the first Division 1-A NCAA team in history to finish its season 14-0, the 2002 Ohio State Buckeye's players were awarded these stunning rings for their National Championship victory, after defeating the Miami Hurricanes in a Fiesta Bowl double-overtime thriller. Led by quarterback Craig Krenzel and defensive juggernaut Mike Doss, Buckeyes' defensive lineman David Thompson received this 10 karat white gold "Jostens" showpiece for his contributions to this memorable squad. Exhibiting light wear, this piece features a sparkling black and white football-shaped stone in the center, surrounded by a glistening border of faux diamonds. Measuring at a [size] 11.5, this player's ring also is accompanied by Thompson's charm each Ohio State player was given for defeating rival Michigan in 1998.
