Description
1945 NFL Championship Playoff Program, CGC 7.5 (Pop 1/1 with None Higher!) - Rams Over the Redskins. Before the advent of the Super Bowl, the National Football League held a World Championship game at the end of each season. In 1945, the Cleveland Rams hosted the Washington Redskins on a frigid day with temperatures dropping to -8 degrees. The Rams would barely eke out the win by a score of 15-14 and send Sammy Baugh's Redskins home empty-handed. The following season the Rams would take up a new residence in Los Angeles. The program exhibits tremendously clean condition, and it is the sole example on the CGC census. Encapsulated by CGC, 7.5.Auction Info
