Description

1939 NFL Championship Game Packers Vs. Giants Full Ticket - Only Example Known! In the seventh title game in league history, the Green Bay Packers avenged its 1938 championship game loss to the New York Giants by defeating the Big Apple squad by a score of 27-0 in front of 32,379 fans. Played in Milwaukee at State Fair Park instead of Green Bay in hopes of increased attendance, it marked the Packers' fifth title and was the first shutout in NFL playoff history.

Presented here is the only known full ticket from the historic 1939 NFL Championship Game (PSA Poor 1). Considered one of the true Holy Grails in advanced Packers memorabilia collecting circles, it exhibits moderate paper loss at the ends, while numerous creases and medium corner wear is displayed throughout. Despite the noted wear, it displays superbly, and it showcases its original unfaded light blue color and black print. One of the most significant full tickets in our October catalog auction, this beauty will surely stand out as a key sports artifact in any memorabilia collection or sports museum.
