Description

1922 Canton Bulldogs vs. Toledo Maroons Program - Championship Season (Canton)! While current NFL fans hold Tom Brady and his New England Patriots in the highest regard, true pro football historians recognize Guy Chamberlin and his Canton Bulldogs as not only one of the earliest pro football dynasties, but also one of the most significant squads in APFA/NFL history.

Heritage Auctions is proud to present the offered game program from Cantons' 0-0 tie with the Toledo Maroons. Consisting of eight pages, which measure at 8.25x10.5", the Fair (heavy wrinkling throughout) publication is one of the earliest pro programs in existence, and one of few ever seen from the Bulldogs undefeated championship season. Terrific advertisement is displayed in the program from "Jordan and Hupmobile", where the NFL started! Also included is a contemporary print of the 1922 Bulldogs, which can be used for display purposes.
