Mid 1980's Dan Marino Game Worn Miami Dolphins Uniform with Handwarmer Pockets & Equipment Manager Letter. A man who owned virtually every major quarterback record when he retired, Dan Marino inspired a generation of young signal callers. Blessed with a rifle arm, there weren't many throws the Hall of Fame quarterback couldn't complete.This "Russell Athletic size XL" aqua mesh garment has a few features which make it stand out. Built-in pockets are installed for when Marino had to go on the road late in the season. The inside has a thick sheepskin type material to keep Marino's hands warm. Light overall use is shown on the pullover as would be expected from a late-season jersey only worn on the road. The identifiers are heat pressed in two-color formation while "Marino" is placed against a nameplate in single-color white. Both sleeve ends have special inserts which give them a floppy look. The tail includes a Russell size tag and suspended fabric content label. Also included are Marino's "Wilson size 36" pants. The aqua/white/orange/white/aqua side striping shows moderate sun fading. A Wilson label is joined by a creation code (CO) flag tag and size indicator. "13" is written in vintage marker inside. Moderate pilling marks are visible in the waistline.
