Mid 1950's Matt Hazeltine Game Worn San Francisco 49ers Jersey. An extremely popular former San Francisco 49ers player, linebacker Matt Hazeltine spent 14 seasons with the historic Bay Area franchise. A two-time Pro Bowler, and esteemed member of the College Football Hall of Fame, the Cal Bears alum wore this great Niners gamer during the mid-1950's, as determined from the style of "Wilson" tail tagging season.

Exhibiting a bright cherry red body, with white sewn-on tackle twill numerals that have since toned moderately, it shows great wear and the proper "Wilson" tag in the tail ([size] 50 flap tag affixed as well). Accompanied with a handwritten letter from its original owner who obtained it straight from the Hazeltine household, it is one of few Niners shirts from the mid 50's ever to surface in the hobby. Letter of provenance from original owner. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
