Early 1980's Johnnie Gray Game Worn Green Bay Packers Jersey. One of the most popular Packers of all time, Johnnie Gray still resides in the Green Bay area, and is a major fixture in the local sports media market. Also a member of the Packers board of directors, Gray wore this white mesh gamer in the early 1980's with the Titletown squad. Displaying a nice team repair on the back above the original nameplate and moderate wear throughout, it has the proper "44" and "regular" tags in the collar, while no tags are present in the tail, as it is customized to Gray's specifications. Screened-on identifiers are presented on the front, back and sleeves. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
