Early 1970's Mike Ditka Game Worn Jersey. Though the Hall of Fame tight end is most commonly associated with the Chicago Bears he represented in the early years of his playing career and again as a coach, it must be noted that he twice helped lead the Dallas Cowboys to the Super Bowl during his final four years in the NFL. Here we find a classic example of his white nylon durene gamer, exhibiting minimal but evident wear from an exciting era in Cowboys football history. Number "89" appears on chest, back and shoulders in interior rope stitched royal blue tackle twill, with "Ditka" spelled across rear satin nameplate. "Southland" local manufacturer's label appears in collar above a cloth flap tag designating "Size 48." Consigned by a former Dallas Cowboys staffer, with his letter of provenance. LOA from Lou Lampson.
