Early 1970's Bob Lilly Game Worn Jersey. A stellar representation of a late-career jersey from this superstar defensive lineman who spent the entirety of his fourteen-season Hall of Fame career with the Dallas Cowboys. The home white mesh body of the jersey gives way to hybrid durene sleeves with embedded striping, as is proper for the era. Number "74" is sewn in blue tackle twill to chest, back and sleeves in a style much more desirable than the later screened identifiers. "Lilly" is similarly sewn across rear nameplate, where an 8/10 blue sharpie inscription reads, "To Bill from Bob Lilly #74 Cowboys." Strong wear is evident throughout, particularly in the appearance of team repairs scattered about the shoulders and chest. Local Texas sporting goods manufacturer "Southland" label appears inside collar, with size "48" flap tag affixed below. In short, it's everything you could want in a gamer from this hero of the Lone Star state. LOA from Lou Lampson.
