    Description

Circa 1985-86 Joe Morris Game Worn New York Giants Jersey. A key member of the New York Giants Super Bowl XXI championship squad, Joe Morris rushed for 67 yards, caught four passes for 20 yards, and scored a touchdown during the team's historic victory over the Denver Broncos. Presented here is a spectacular blue mesh Giants home jersey that was worn by the famed running back during the mid 1980's. Presenting the rare Spider Lockhart patch on the front, it has screened-on identifiers on the front, back and sleeves. Please note: this jersey was not worn in the Super Bowl, but it was most likely worn during the 1985 season; the Lockhart patch was added in 1986 and it was essentially used as a back up Super Bowl jersey. In addition, the proper Giants exclusivity and "Sand Knit [size] 44" tags are in the tail, while various hit marks and additional wear is exhibited. A superb example from one of the most popular Giants stars of the 1980's. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
