    Description

Circa 1983 Boomer Esiason Game Worn Maryland Terrapins Jersey. While the team has had a few first round playoff exits, the glory days of the Cincinnati Bengals was in the 1980's. Boomer Esiason did everything humanly possible to ensure a Lombardi Trophy, only to have Joe Montana whip up some fourth quarter magic in Super Bowl XXIII. Worn by the left-handed signal caller during his college days in Maryland, the extremely rare college jersey is one of the cooler items in this auction's football section. Consisting of red mesh fabric, it is hemmed at the tail. No manufacturer's tagging is present, but it does have a couple team repairs in the front. Screen-on identifiers throughout, it is completed by a signature in Mint silver ink on the front No. 7. Impressive gamer from one of the most notable quarterbacks of the 1980's and 1990's. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
