    Description

Circa 1976 John Brockington Game Worn Green Bay Packers Jersey. The recipe for success for the early 1970's Green Bay Packers was running the football. The manta was simple - give it Brockington, give it to Brockington. If all else fails the man who realized Pro Bowl berths his first three years in the league would gain that yard needed in the clutch. The burly running back would run over the opposition and ask questions later. Worn during the latter portion of his Packers career is this "Sand Knit [size] 46" home jersey. The mesh garment has at least two unrepaired holes and numerous contact marks in the shoulder region. Both sleeves are sewn under the third stripe and the tail is custom hemmed as well. Applied in the inner tail are two glue affixed Sand knit labels (exclusivity "0" written in black marker and Sand Knit) along with a size flag tag. The collar holds a "Reg" swatch and size indicator as well. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
