Circa 1973-74 Drew Pearson Game Worn Jersey. You'll find few football fans in the Heritage world headquarters of Dallas, Texas who aren't campaigning for this star receiver's Hall of Fame induction, and it's a movement that extends well beyond the city limits. Along with impressive career statistics, Pearson distinguished himself with critical catches when it counted, earning a reputation as one of the team's great clutch performers. This rare blue durene is considered one of the most desirable of all Cowboys styles, and rightfully so. The Cowboys were one of the few 1970's teams to wear white at home, meaning that these blues saw little action comparatively. This excuses the light but evident wear of this gorgeous gamer, which exhibits light sweat crinkling of the number "88" identifiers sewn in white tackle twill to chest, back and sleeves. "Pearson" is spelled across rear satin nameplate in bold block lettering. "Southland" label inside collar dangles a cloth "Size 48" flap tag below. If Canton does indeed come calling, this jersey will take a sharp and sudden upward surge in value, so believers should be bidders. Consigned by a former Dallas Cowboys staffer, with his letter of provenance. LOA from Lou Lampson.
