Circa 1958 Bill Fulcher Game Worn Washington Redskins Jersey. The extreme rarity of the current offering is the highlight for this maroon Durene jersey that was worn in 1958 by linebacker Bill Fulcher. Most likely worn into the early 1960's by other non-roster players, it exhibits excessive wear, while sewn-on tackle twill numerals are displayed on the front, back and sleeves. The proper "Sand Knit [size] 52" tagging is in the tail, and its sleeves have been trimmed. One of several vintage Redskins items offered in our May catalog auction that originates from the team's former assistant trainer/equipment manager. Letter of provenance from the family of Washington Redskins assistant trainer/equipment manager Fred Baxter. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
