Description

Circa 1956-57 Don Maynard Game Worn & Signed Texas Western Miners Jersey. A favorite target of Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Namath, Don Maynard was the man that "Broadway Joe" looked for first when fading back to pass. The very first player to sign with the New York Titans in 1960, Maynard wore this orange Durene Texas Western jersey in college, when he averaged an astounding 27.6 yards per catch. Accompanied by a signed letter from Maynard, the jersey exhibits heavy wear, while the proper Sand Knit and Wilson Walz size 40 tagging is in the crotchpiece. Signed and inscribed by Maynard on the front sewn-on numeral, it displays perfectly. Letter of provenance from Don Maynard. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC.
