Circa 1955-56 Los Angeles Rams Game Worn Jersey, Attributed to Leon Clarke and/or Andy Robustelli. Beautiful light weight royal blue Durene jersey with classic Los Angeles Rams 50's/early '60's sleeve stripe pattern is offered here. Attributed to have been used by Leon Clarke and/or Andy Robustelli, it presents a V neck, with six-button crotchpiece still intact. The proper Mid 1950's "Sand Knit [size] 50" tag is attached to the flap area, while long sleeves with two-inch sleeves are displayed.

With certainty the jersey was worn in 1956 by Leon Clarke, a massive tight end (for the '50's) at 6' 4", 235 pounds, from USC, who played eight years in the NFL with the Rams and Browns. Possibly also used by Hall of Famer Andy Robustelli in 1955, his final season with the Rams before moving on to stardom with the New York Giants. Solid numerals wear is exhibited with four team repairs. Wonderful '50's period Durene worn by one or two formidable players. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
