Circa 1939 Football All America Sweater. One of the most sought after styles in all of football, here we offer an original beige sweater that was once owned by a player who was given the honor of being named a college All America. Worn to award ceremonies and award weekends, the commemorative shirts were gifts that were given to players by the All America board. Exhibiting overall solid eye appeal, it presents several holes throughout, while it features an attractive "All America" stars and stripes shield patch across the center. The proper "Board of Football" manufacturer's tag is in the collar and despite not knowing which player actually wore this particular shirt, it is unquestionably all original, and will make a perfect addition to any gridiron game-worn jersey display. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
