Circa 1939 Derace Moser Game Worn Texas A&M Jersey. As a sophomore, Derace Moser was a starter on the 1939 Aggie team that went 11-0, capturing College Football's National Championship. Known by his teammates as "Mose", Moser was selected to four All America teams and was the only player in the Southwest Conference named to the 1941 College All Star Team. He played on 3 Southwest Conference Championship Teams ('39, '40, '41) and was named MVP of the 1941 Aggie team in addition to winning the Southwest Conference Sportsmanship Award.

Upon graduation, with WWII in full swing, Moser immediately went into active military duty and was commissioned an Officer in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Sadly, a bright and gifted Lieutenant Moser was killed in 1943 in a military airplane crash. Recognized as one of the greatest athletes in Aggie history, Moser is a member of the Texas A&M Athletic Hall of Fame.

Presented is an extraordinarily rare and desirable jersey precise in styling to those worn by the Aggies during the 1939 Championship season. Home white in color with maroon neck and sewn "42" on front and back in maroon tackle twill. Sewn to the jersey's crotchstrap is the "O'Shea" manufacturer's tag from "C&S Sporting Goods of Texas." The long sleeve jersey shows great wear with multiple team repairs yet remains in immaculate condition for display. LOA from Lou Lampson.
