2021 Josh Allen Game Worn Buffalo Bills Jersey -- NFL Auction & Photo Matched to 10/3 vs. Texans! Houston had a serious problem on October 3, 2021 as Bills quarterback Josh Allen earned high marks at Highmark Stadium in a 40-0 tail-whooping of the visiting Texans. Allen passed thirty times for twenty receptions, 248 yards and two touchdowns. He also carried six times for forty-one yards. Having defeated the Miami Dolphins by a score of 35-0 in Week Two, this victory made Buffalo the first team since the 2009 New York Jets to record two shutout wins by thirty-five points or more in a season.

The subject jersey was laundered postgame, but the remnants of hit marks still remain on the front numerals, surviving as one of the data points used by the experts at MeiGray to definitively match the garment to photography from that dominant performance. Mesh hole patterning and scuffing in the upper left sleeve striping were also employed to link the jersey to Getty Image #1344616734 and Associated Press image #21276750673154.

Jersey body is constructed of an elasticized knit/mesh hybrid, with number "17" applied in three-color tackle twill at chest, shoulders and verso, where "Allen" stands across rear nameplate in three-inch white block lettering. Captain's logo "Crucial Catch" patch appears at upper right chest, the rainbow motif relating to the league's support of cancer research.

Interior collar bears the "Nike/NFL" tagging, with size "44, On-Field, Skill" markings and a "2020" flap tag telling us that the jersey shell was carried over from the previous season. We can also see that the 2020 season's COVID tracker pouch at bottom of v-neck collar has been sewed shut.
