2013 Tom Brady Game Worn New England Patriots Jersey Photo Matched to Three Games! To paraphrase Mark Twain, the reports of the death of Brady's talent and/or career have been greatly exaggerated for years already, and an Instagram post in the aftermath of his Patriots' loss in the first round of the 2019 playoffs captioned, "I know I still have more to prove" strongly suggests that we haven't seen the last of the greatest quarterback in NFL history. Less certain is the uniform that Brady will wear in 2020, or whether the magic that provided more than fistful of Championship rings would be transferable to a new geography.

At the time of this writing, only fifteen men have appeared in more NFL games than Brady, but his jerseys remain notoriously rare nonetheless, driving at least one frustrated collector to a life of crime with those famous Super Bowl locker room heists. Today, Brady's gamers tend to find homes within the Patriots inner sanctum, where vast wealth leaves little impetus to turn to the memorabilia market for sale.

For a while, the National Football League was supplied with a small quantity of gamers each year for sale on their auction website, but that partnership ended on unfriendly terms in 2015 in the aftermath of the Deflategate scandal. This is one of the jerseys from that former alliance. The NFL botched the stickering of the jersey (now removed), attributing it to the wrong player, so authenticity is assured by a far more reliable method--multiple matches to game photography.

The experts at Resolution Photomatching have provided high-resolution proof of action in three separate contests--the season opener at Buffalo on September 8th, a September 29th visit to Atlanta, and the following week's October 6th showdown at Cincinnati. Brady would pass for two touchdowns in each of the first two victories before being blanked in that category and sacked four times in a wet weather loss to the Bengals.

We believe that the jersey was not washed after the October 6th game, as we can still see a brown ball mark at upper right chest, likewise apparent in photography from that contest. The photo matches supplied by Resolution make note of this for that game, but otherwise tends to concentrate on mesh hole patterns and other issues not related to impact marks.

The jersey exhibits wonderful game wear, as one would expect for its protracted history, with Brady's fabled number "12" applied to chest, shoulders and verso in patriotic tri-tone tackle twill. Surname spans the rear nameplate in blue alone. Interior collar holds "Nike [size] 44" label with "Q-BK" text for "Quarterback Cut," primarily due to shortened sleeves.
