Description
2011 Drew Brees Game Worn & Signed New Orleans Saints Jersey Photo Matched to Three Games (9 TD's, 1,071 yards)! With NFL-topping tallies for completions (468), completion percentage (71.2%) passing yards (5,476) and touchdowns (46)--and the latter two personal-bests as well--it's no wonder that this Hall of Fame quarterback was named the Associated Press' Offensive Player of the Year in 2011, his third and final victory on that ballot. The provided white mesh gamer found Brees producing a sizeable chunk of those impressive stats, with ironclad assurance coming in the form of both Brees' personal handwritten notations on front numeral and accompanying paperwork from Resolution Photomatching.The games in question:
November 13: Overtime victory (26-23) at Atlanta Falcons (30/43 for 322 yards and 2 touchdowns).
December 11: Victory (22-17) at Tennessee Titans (36/47 for 337 yards and 2 touchdowns)
December 18: Victory (42-20) at Minnesota Vikings (32/40 for 412 yards and 5 touchdowns).
Jersey exhibits fine game wear with Brees' celebrated number "9" applied in black-on-gold tackle twill to chest, shoulders and verso, where it is sheltered by "Brees" applied to a nameplate in 3.25" block lettering. Captain's "C" patch is affixed to upper right chest, with fleur-de-lis logo patches at each sleeve. Interior collar holds "07-46" and "S" (for "skill" player" swatches. It was not uncommon for the Saints (and other teams) to use jersey shells years after production, hence the 2007 dating of the tag.
This exemplary relic from a dominant 13-3 season is elevated by a lengthy notation joining Brees' 9/10 silver sharpie signature on chest, reading, "2011 Game Used, 11-13, 12-11, 12-18, 9 TD, 1071 yds, 2011 OPOY, Who Dat!"
