The durability champion of the world is finally knocked out for the count...

2010 Brett Favre Final Career Game Worn Minnesota Vikings Jersey. Father Time always wins in the end. But if there had ever been an athlete to challenge that truism, it was the original owner of this purple mesh gamer, who had rewritten the NFL record books with a will and a body that seemed utterly unbreakable. And while the former never did crack, the latter ultimately honored the immutable laws of the universe on December 20, 2010, concussed by a massive hit from Bears defensive end Corey Wootton that sent Favre to the sidelines for the last time.

It had been the Vikings first outdoor home game in nearly three decades, but the final appearance for one of the sport's greatest practictioners would prove to be the enduring tale of the contest, closing out the Gunslinger's five for seven appearance and the last sixty-three passing yards of a career 71,838. His twenty-three-yard touchdown strike to Percy Harvin would prove to be his 508th and last.

Thus few modern NFL garments carry more significance than the offered purple mesh model, the closing bookend on one of the greatest careers in the history of American sports. A captain's "C" and Vikings Golden Anniversary patch adorn the upper chest above the legendary number "4" in white tackle twill, that digit repeated at each shoulder and reverse, where "Favre" stands across shoulders in three-inch block. Interior collar holds standard "10-48" and "Q" swatches. Tail is custom-cropped and elasticized to Favre's preference. Rear numeral is autographed in 9/10 black sharpie with "Game Used 12/20/10" notation in Favre's hand. Includes video of Favre signing Letter of provenance and talking about the hit and the game. Letter of provenance from Brett Favre. LOA from Packers Jersey Expert Guy Hankel. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
