    Description

2006 Roy Williams Game Worn Throwback Uniform. The 2002 first round pick out of Oklahoma has proven to be a fine choice for America's Team, with Williams earning a Pro Bowl berth each of the past four seasons. The Tampa Bay game in late November saw Williams return an interception twenty-seven yards while wearing this retro uni, with the rough, sweaty wear it shows today dating from a Christmas meeting with the Eagles. Amidst the black facemask scrapes and turf dirt you'll even find a spattering of blood at the left sleeve. Number "31" appears in tackle twill on chest, back and shoulders of the jersey, and again in black marker on the interior waistband of the pants. "R. Williams" is spelled across jersey's rear nameplate. Interior collar sports "06-50" year/size label, with full "Reebok" tagging in tail. Pants are identically tagged, with "36" and "S.I." flap tags and "06" year swatch. Belt has hand markered number "31" and "06-36" printed swatch affixed.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
