Similar to Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game and Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hit streak, on December 17, 2006, San Diego Chargers superstar running back LaDainian Tomlinson joined the elite group of sports legends who hold records that may never be broken. The mark in question was held for 46 years by Packers great Paul Hornung for the most points in a season (176), and on that faithful winter day at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium, LT scampered across the goal line for his 15-yard record-breaking touchdown.Admittedly, the term Hall of Fame-caliber is used way too loosely in our wonderful hobby, but the current listing undoubtedly fits that bill. Here we present Tomlinson's record-breaking jersey that he wore during the Chargers' December 17, 2006 home game versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
