One of the top passers NFL history, Drew Brees put the city of New Orleans on his back after the horrific Hurricane Katrina and led his Saints to a Super Bowl championship in 2010. Presented here is a midnight navy jersey that the Hall of Fame Purdue alum wore during his second year in San Diego, which came two years before his first Pro Bowl and four years before he led the NFL in passing yards. Exhibiting moderate wear throughout, the scarce early career gamer is signed and inscribed on the back sewn-on numeral in bold black sharpie, while the proper "02-5-" swatch is in the collar.
