2002 David Thompson Game Worn Uniform, Helmet and Ohio State Buckeyes Team Signed Football. Led by quarterback Craig Krenzel and safety Mike Doss, the 2002 Ohio State was compiled with players of superior talent, a nose for the football and unmatched player leadership, en route to winning the NCAA National Championship. In a thrilling two-overtime Fiesta Bowl, the Buckeyes defeated the Miami Hurricanes 31-24, which secured that season's team in the record books as the 2002 champs. From that very season, we offer defensive lineman David Thompson's complete uniform, helmet and a team-signed Ohio State football. Exhibiting solid use, the "[size] 52 Nike" jersey is accompanied with his "[size] 38 Nike" pants, in addition to his heavily-used silver Ohio State shell. Also, a rubber "Nike 500" football is included that has been signed by multiple members of the championship team. Ball exhibits NM condition, with bold black sharpie signatures. A fabulous set of pieces from one of the most memorable seasons in Ohio State history. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
