Description

2002-03 Rod Woodson Super Bowl XXXVII Game Worn Oakland Raiders Jersey with Two Repairs--Photo Matched! An esteemed member of the NFL's 75th All-Time Team, safety/cornerback Rod Woodson turned in an astounding 71 interceptions during his Hall of Fame career. While being named to 11 Pro Bowls, the 1993 NFL Defensive Player of the Year wore this white "Reebok size 44" jersey during the 2002 season and Super Bowl XXXVII. Excellent wash wear is exhibited throughout and there are pilling marks just to the right of the NOB. An "R" prefix was used because the team also rostered Charles Woodson during the Super Bowl season. A small team repair is located just above the middle portion of the "6" numeral while another small repair is found near the front "2." The all-important Super Bowl XXXVII patch is affixed over the heart. Resolution Photomatching has matched it to the big game (alignment of mesh holes) as well.

Provenance is further secured with a signed letter from Rod Woodson. This was initially offered when Woodson sold his collection a few years ago. The jersey is custom hemmed just above the tag line. Stretch spandex material supports a traditional mesh body. Letter of provenance from Rod Woodson. LOA from Heritage Auctions. LOA from Resolution Photomatching.
