2001 Michael Strahan Game Worn New York Giants Jersey - Used During 12/30/01 Vs. Eagles. One of the most polarizing football players in history, both on and off the field, Michael Strahan struck fear into every opposing quarterback he faced, while capturing the hearts of countless Giants fans during his Hall of Fame playing career. Nevertheless, Strahan may currently be even be more popular than ever after adding a new demographic of admirers due to his role as co-host on the popular national television show "Live With Kelly and Michael."Presented here is one of the nicest Strahan gamers we've handled, and it was used in the significant December, 20, 2001 meeting versus the Philadelphia Eagles when he surpassed the legendary Lawrence Taylor and overtook the top spot on the New York Giants' single-season sack list. Photomatched to Getty Image #51708785, it shows tremendous wear from the battlefield. Caked with helmet transfer marks and scrapes throughout, it features the proper "01-48" tag in the collar, while the "GBY" strip is affixed to the left chest, in memoriam of the Giants' former general manager George Bernard Young. Cut at the waist, which is typical of most Strahan gamers, it presents a nice team repair on the left sleeve. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
