1994 Jim Kelly Game Worn Buffalo Bills Jersey, Pants & Thermal Undershirt Photo Matched to 9/4 vs. the Jets. This Hall of Fame quarterback was a USFL MVP and five-time NFL Pro Bowler who led the Bills to four consecutive Super Bowl appearances. During the season he wore the jersey presented here, Kelly completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 3,114 yards, and twenty-two touchdowns.Champion home blue mesh jersey displays "12" on the front, back, and sleeves, with "Kelly" on the verso nameplate, all screened-on in white and red heat transfers. The jersey also features stretchy blue side panels, red and white trim (decorating the ribbed collar and sleeve cuffs), and the NFL 75th Anniversary and Bills 35th Anniversary patches, which are sewn high on the front. Best of all are the specs and wear which include customized sleeves and tail, plus two huge team-executed stitch repairs (four inches and three inches in length) and a paint transfer mark on the left sleeve.
Matching pants sport blue/red side striping, blue belt, lace-up fly, Champion and NFL logo patches, and Champion tagging indicating size ("34"), season ("1993"), and exclusivity. Kelly's "12" can also be found on the interior waistband in vintage black laundry marker, and the front left leg is signed "Jim Kelly 12" in vintage black marker. This ensemble also includes another Kelly staple - a white thermal turtleneck undershirt for cold weather games with embroidered Apex and Bills logos, "12" in faded vintage black marker, and customized sleeves.
John Robinson at Resolution Photomatching has conclusively matched the jersey to the 9/4/94 contest versus the Jets, when Kelly recorded 179 passing yards.
This entire uniform ensemble was obtained directly from Dave Hojnowski who was the Buffalo Bills equipment manager from 1978-2012.
