1993 Andre Reed Game Worn, Signed & Inscribed Buffalo Bills Jersey with Equipment Manager Provenance--Photo Matched!UPDATE: Resolution Photomatching has matched this jersey to photography from 11/21/93 vs. Indianapolis. We will post this paperwork online when it is received.
The Hall of Fame wide receiver donned this Champion road blue mesh jersey with dazzle cloth shoulders, and Spandex side panels during the 1993 campaign when he tallied fifty-two catches for 852 yards. "83" appears on the front, back, and sleeves with "Reed" on the verso nameplate, all screened-on in red and white heat transfers. Red and white trim decorates the ribbed v-neck collar and sleeve cuffs, and the NFL and two Champion patches are all present. The verso is signed and inscribed "Andre Reed 83, 94 Best Wishes," large and bold, in 9/10 vintage black sharpie.
What makes this exemplar truly fantastic is the customizations and wear. Tailored to the exacting specifications of Andre Reed, we see custom length sleeves, with elasticized sleeve cuffs, and a custom cut tail, with an additional 5.5 inches of mesh fabric added for extra length. The game wear is equally outstanding and includes an array of hit marks, field transfers, paint transfers to the sleeve numbers and back name, and two 1.5-inch team executed stitch repairs on/near the verso "3." One of the best of the few legitimate Reed jerseys with solid wear out there. Wouldn't it look great on a half-mannequin in your sports room?
