    Description

1990 Nuu Faaola Training Camp Worn Cleveland Browns Jersey. A veteran of four NFL campaigns, running back Nuu Faaola plied his trade with the Jets and Dolphins from 1986-89. In 1990 he signed with the Cleveland Browns but never made it past training camp. The team released him after his former fiancé and future Miss Hawaii and Miss America Carolyn Sapp confirmed that he had beat her up after he was released by the Jets, strangled her after he was released by the Dolphins, and then attacked her with a knife. The white durene offered here sports "44" and Faaola" sewn on in brown tackle twill with brown/orange sleeve stripes. While the majority of the jersey shows light wear, the garment does exhibit some discoloration at the bottom portion and a large, 4" team repair on back right shoulder. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
