1988 Lawrence Taylor Game Worn, Signed New York Giants Jersey - Loaded With Team Repairs! According to football legend John Madden, Lawrence Taylor, defensively, has had as big an impact as any player he's ever seen. "He changed the way defense is played, the way pass-rushing is played, the way linebackers play and the way offenses block linebackers," said Madden. Offered here is a fantastic blue mesh New York Giants jersey, worn by the dominant Hall of Famer during the peak of his storied professional football career. Jersey is one of the nicest examples we have ever seen, while presenting a scattering of team repairs, hit marks and additional evidence that it spent quality time on the gridiron. It's the proper "[size] 46 Sand Knit - MacGregor," while displaying the "Giants exclusivity tag" and "88" basketball-jersey style year tag in the tail, which is not common, but acceptable, as no-name Giants jerseys also have the similar tagging from time to time. If the specs weren't enough, there is a faded blue sharpie signature on the back screened-on "6" and "1988 Game Used" inscription in the same ink. Despite Taylor's controversial lifestyle off the field, nobody can dispute that he was one of the most prolific defenders ever to play the game, and this great garment is a superb representation from the Giants legend.
