    Description

1986-87 Joe Montana Game Worn San Francisco 49ers Jersey. Noted for remaining calm under pressure, Joe Montana earned his famed nicknames "Joe Cool," and "The Comeback Kid," during his storied career in the NFL. The owner of one of the most impressive resumes in all of sports, the Hall of Fame quarterback won four Super Bowls, was named to eight Pro Bowls, and was named NFL MVP multiple times.

Offered here is a superb Montana gamer that was used during the peak of his storied career, and it is one of those items that every serious game-worn jersey collectors must own. The red mesh home shirt presents the proper screened-on identifiers, while a "Russell [size] 44" tag is in the tail (no fabric content table affixed, as jersey may have been an extra). Minimal wear is exhibited, with slight scuffing in the sewn-on rear nameplate can be seen. An absolutely classic garment, it was worn by Montana a year or two before his third Super Bowl victory. LOA from SCD Authentic, A8.5. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
