    Description

1980's Mark Clayton Game Worn Miami Dolphins Jersey. The better half of the Dolphins' wide receiving tandem that formed the popular "Marks Brothers," Mark Clayton was named to five Pro Bowls during his storied professional career, while tallying nearly 9,000 receiving yards and a staggering 84 touchdowns. A possible consideration for Canton's Pro Football Hall of Fame, Clayton is an esteemed member of the Dolphins' "Honor Roll". Here we present an extremely rare white mesh road jersey that he wore during the peak of his tenure in South Beach. Exhibiting light to moderate wear throughout, it has the proper screened-on identifiers on the front, back and sleeves, while a "Russell Athletic [size] 38" tag is in the tail. Signed on the back No. 8 in black ink, it is the first Clayton jersey we've sold at auction, and one of only few that have ever sold publicly. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
