1980-85 Ozzie Newsome Game Worn Cleveland Browns Durene Jersey. Ozzie Newsome was the prototypical tight end who could catch anything within yards of his reach. After his football career was behind him, Newsome became a Hall of Fame executive with the Ravens. Years before it became commonplace among pro football teams, the Cleveland Browns implemented Velcro into one of Newsome's gamers. The back tail includes a three inch Velcro swatch used to keep Newsome's jersey from popping out. Each of the identifiers is crafted in single-color white tackle twill on this fabulous durene garment. Light use is exhibited with a stain on the front "8" identifier. Sewn in the tail are two labels: Sand Knit Browns exclusivity and "Medalist Sand Knit [size] 46." LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
