Description

1975 Chicago Winds World Football League Game Used Jersey. The Chicago Winds was the World Football League's ill-fated 1975 successor to the Chicago Fire. The team was named the Winds because Chicago was nicknamed "The Windy City". The team played at Soldier Field, but folded after unsuccessfully pursuing Joe Namath and playing just five games. Jersey retains Red Fox Athletic Goods XXL tagging at collar and identifies player as Jenkins on uniform back. Player's name and uniform #60 are screened-on green jersey in white. Plenty of game use in the form of paint transfer and team repair is readily apparent.
