1970-72 Mike Curtis Game Worn Baltimore Colts Jersey. Mike Curtis was not known for his cheery disposition. One of the NFL's nastiest players of any generation, Curtis had a motor which never stopped. Former teammate Bill Curry described the linebacker as "A Hall of Fame player." Maybe one day Curtis will find himself in Canton. This battle scarred gamer saw plenty of gridiron action when Curtis was beating up the opposition in the early 1970's. We counted at least eight team repairs in the shoulder area and upper half of the body. Numerous hit marks and scrapes are dispersed throughout. The single-color white numbers have staining and "Curtis" is applied to an elongated nameplate. The tail holds a "Sand Knit size 48" period tag. Both sleeve ends have embedded reinforcements. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
