1970-72 John Hannah Game Worn, Signed Alabama Crimson Tide Jersey, MEARS A8. Widely remembered for the Sports Illustrated cover that dubbed him "The Best Offensive Lineman of All Time," John Hannah was inducted into Canton's Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1991. A nine-time Pro Bowler, and member of the NFL's 75th Anniversary All-Time Team, Hannah wore this beautiful white Durene jersey during his college days at Alabama. Worn during his notable stint under head coach Bear Bryant, where he would become an All American in 1972, it is hammered with team repairs and nice scuffing throughout. Signed on the front in bold sharpie, it has a size 46 tag in the tail, while it is missing its manufacturer's tag (1-point MEARS deduction). The other 1-point deduction is due to the moderate staining at the bottom of the jersey. Terrific example representing the Pro and College Football Hall of Famer. LOA from MEARS, A8. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
