1968-69 Emerson Boozer Game Worn, Signed New York Jets Jersey. Despite his proven talent in High School, few college schools showed interest in running back Emerson Boozer. Opting for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Boozer showed open field ability as a back, as well as strength and intensity that exceeded his small stature. Offered here an absolutely gorgeous Durene jersey that Boozer wore during an era in which he was named to the Pro Bowl (1968), and was part of the historic Super Bowl III winning New York Jets. Presenting heavy wear throughout, with multiple team repairs, its crotch piece remains intact and features the proper "Thorp" and "Sand Knit [size] 50" tags. In addition, the ultra-rare garment showcases tackle twill identifiers on the front, back and sleeves, while Boozer added a bold black sharpie signature on the front. An absolutely impeccable specimen that will be sure to make AFL collectors drool. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
