1962-65 Willie Daniel Game Worn Pittsburgh Steelers Jersey. Willie Daniel was a dependable cornerback who enjoyed a six year career with the Steelers before finishing up with the Rams. This gorgeous "Rawlings size 44" jersey saw Steel City action in the early 1960's. The white durene body sports yellow sleeves with black embedded sleeve striping. The main sets of numbers are in two-tone tackle twill while the shoulder numbers are single-color black. Two repairs are found on the right shoulder. The crotch piece has been removed and three tags are sewn inside: Rawlings, Pittsburgh Sports Shop and washing instructions. A Steelers Authentic Memorabilia hologram rests on the washing instructions tag. The Steelers made a few of their early jerseys available to the public a few years ago. They sold out within seconds of reaching the team website. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
