1951-54 George Hughes Game Worn Pittsburgh Steelers Jersey. Highly regarded as one of the most passionate collecting bases in the gridiron community, Steelers nation will be intrigued by this early 1950's Durene gamer worn by guard George Hughes. Originally obtained at The Super Bowl Auction in 2014, the nicely worn garment displays gold twill numbers on the front and back, while the proper era Wilson size 44 tagging is in the crotch piece. In addition, a nice scattering of team repairs are showcased on this impressive artifact from the gridiron's Golden Years. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
