1950s-60s Football All-Star Game Worn Jersey. Judging by the patriotic red-and-white side striping and red felt stars affixed to the shoulders, this elegant mid-century gamer was most likely used in an All-Star Game, presumably the annual East-West Shrine Game. In any event, a star player was deployed on the field of battle in this fantastic Wilson jersey, which shows the most evidence of wear on its white "40" numerals that have been attached at the chest and verso. Includes crotch flap with button closure, which is where the manufacturer's tag is found. Prime for display, this intrepid garment will bring a measurable amount of aesthetic punch to any vintage football collection. LOA from PSA/DNA.
