1950's Washington Redskins Game Worn Sideline Jacket. Despite a nice early start for the Washington Redskins franchise during the 1930's and the mid-1940's, the team began to slowly decline, as it employed four different head coaches from 1946-51. Still, the franchise possessed a loyal fan following through its history, and its collector base in the hobby is no different.

Offered here is an exceedingly rare sideline jacket used by a staff member or player during the 1950's. Displaying an attractive gold wool style, with cream leather sleeves, this stunner showcases a chenille Redskins patch on the left chest. In addition, the proper "King O'Shea" tag is in the collar, while a "[size] 44" tag is in the interior tail. Jacket exhibits superb condition throughout, with moderate wear. From the team's memorable days at their home field in Griffith Stadium, this gridiron dandy is sure to bring back memories of any experienced Redskins enthusiast. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
