    Description

1950's-60's Green Bay Packers Blue and Gold Game Worn Sideline Cape. There is one displayed in the confines of Canton's Pro Football Hall of Fame, and there are few examples in some of the most advanced Green Bay Packers collections. Now, there is one up for bidding in our November catalog auction. Offered here is, what most Packers memorabilia experts consider to be at the top of the list of Green Bay game-worn memorabilia.

Displaying unmatched eye appeal, and hailing from one of the toughest periods in the franchise's rich history and also worn sporadically throughout the Lombardi era, here we present a Packer player's sideline cape from the 1950's. Showcasing the team's navy blue and gold colors throughout the cape's body, it presents "PACKERS" on the back in tackle twill lettering. The proper "Wilson [size] XL" tag is in the collar, while the No. "41" is handwritten in the interior. Exhibiting heavy use, with no major flaws, it is the perfect center piece for any advanced cheesehead or discerning gridiron hobbyist. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
